Sorry I didn't post for some time; I was on a vacation to Yellowstone National Park. It was very sweet with all the geysers and stuff.

So, anything new!?!?!?

Gosh, Eliminate is really getting on my nerves! I thought they would accept my weapon ideas and then?...

I suggest Eliminate should really ramp it up.


REALLY ramp it up. They need to WORK it for crying out loud!

Anybody else dissapointed? I think everyone is...

Well, until Eliminate updates again, I'm not exactly happy.

I guess I'll just sit and wait...

Offworlder and Albatross armors are back!

Yes!

Even though it's nothing new, it gives me more hope; I know now that ngmoco:) is actually paying attention to Eliminate. Anyway, it's still an update. I bought offworlder armor and already started upgrading it. Now that I have upgraded my Devastator to the desired point, I can focus on armor. In a world full of rippers, no tanker can survive.

So, have fun with today's update!

And hopefully (Since I submitted the weapons) they'll accept them and make new weapons for the Eliminate Community. Yay.

Glitch Sunday! I forgot!

Well, I have a good one if you have a jailbroken iPod or iPhone.

Use a voice recorder to make a funny noise. Save it as a .wav file and name it death1, death2, or death3. NO CAPITAL LETTERS.

Example: death1.wav

Then, use WinSCP to go onto your iPod/iPhone, go to the apps directory, find "Livefire.app" or something like that (depending on which type of eliminate you have) and go to quake directory and from there go to sounds. In one of the folders in "sounds" there should be a file called death1.wav, death2.wav, and death3.wav. Transfer your new file and replace the old one. You can use the same technique for drown.wav, taunt.wav, etc. Now, when you play Eliminate, when you kill somebody, they will make a really funny noise; the voice you recorded earlier. Experiment and have fun!

So I submitted lots of weapon ideas to Eliminate. The person who recieved it liked the ideas and sent forwarded the message to be reviewed. If I am lucky, my weapons will appear in the Eliminate Store. I'm feeling pretty optimistic now.

The weapons I submitted:

Chlorinator (Jr and Pro) - Shoots billowing clouds of chlorine gas




DualShot (Jr and Pro) - Fires two large electrically-charged bullets that rotate around each other as they move



Sharpsharder (Jr and Pro) - Shoots small sharp glass shards that pierce armor at highly lethal rates



GlaiveShot (Jr and Pro) -Shoots large, fast spinning glaives that are deflected by structural surfaces



Incinerator (Jr and Pro) - Shoots close range fireballs that incinerate foes on contact



Cannonballer (Jr. and Pro) -Shoots a giant cannonball that crushes any enemy on downfall and trips others while it rolls.
 
Hopefully, some of these weapons will be accepted and then the whole Eliminate community will be able to purchase these weapons.

Oh wow.

So... no weapon on thursday.

I decided to wait longer for any special events, but nothing.

So the longshot was a one-time release and now we are going to have another 10-week period with no weapons. bummer.

THEY STILL DID NOT ACCEPT MY CHLORINATOR! frick.

Well if my chlorinator comes out, I believe it will be a happy time for me and so will the rest of the Eliminate community, which is dwindling in numbers.

I will keep on posting! Don't worry!

Hi guys!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday and most of today; I was celebrating my birthday.

Anyways, the Longshot release is good news for me. Even though it is not so popular, it marks a new beginning of Eliminate; when Eliminate stops being boring and starting to become more active and updated.

Or the Longshot might have been a one-time release and Eliminate could flop down in underproductivity.

Seriously, if Arsenal Megacorp is a company, than they should have the gun formulaters properly equipped to make new types of weapons.

The Longshot is pretty fun. There is something about it that when you get killed by one, you don't feel mad.
Well, that's my view on it. It's more of a "Dangit" than a "WTF?".

Tsk Tsk. Licosa finally quit eliminate. That's sad. Toiletpro and then Licosa. But I made this blog so I could post on it. I will post often and I will not quit. I promise.

Yes, Arsenal Megacorp gifted us 10 powercells! Quite small for all the bugs they had lately, but it's still a gift!

Wow! Nothing new for over a month.

I have something new in mind.
I thought up a new weapon in December or so... but was unnoticed by ngmoco
Chlorinator Jr. and Chlorinator Pro



Description: Heavy, tankerlike weapon that releases deadly Cl2 gas at high rates. Toxic to lungs, disintegrates on contact.

I also have the stats for the Chlorinator:




Jr.

Damage: 10, 12, 15, 19, 25, 31, 41, 45, 48

Refire: 2 bursts per sec gradually upgrade to 4 bursts per sec

Zoom: Default for any Jr. weapon

Reload: 2.5 sec gradually upgrade to 1.75 sec

Clip Size: 5 bursts to 9 bursts. Extra ammo added at lvls 3, 6, 9, 10

Duration: 2 sec gradually upgrade to 6 sec





Pro

Damage: 48, 51, 54, 57, 61, 64, 67, 71, 75, 78

Refire: 4 bursts per sec upgrade gradually to 6 bursts per sec

Zoom: As default for any Pro weapon

Reload: 1.75 sec upgrade gradually to 1 sec

Clip Size: 9 bursts to 13 bursts. Extra ammo added on at lvls 3, 6, 9, 10

Duration: 6 sec gradually upgrade to 10 sec



Jr will be selling at 1820c and avalible to rank 20+

Pro will be selling at 4120c and avalible to rank 60+



Duration is effective in that the Chlorinator can also be used as a trap. If you spray chlorine gas in any part of the map, that part of the map is inacessable by other players unless they forfeit some of their health going through the chlorine cloud. The cloud will dissipate at a certain time, depending on how much you upgrade your weapon.

I have drawn a sketch of the weapon, but I will release it a little later.

Grav-hook up to one of the sides of the huge trapezoid-shaped corridor.
You can see through the wall into the corridor!

There is even a place on both sides where you can shoot through! -hint: aim for the small ridge at the far side of the corridor and shoot while slowly moving. You'll find it!

I know you ripper users will love this one - snipe people as they walk into the corridor... That would be sweet.

New Titan Cursor

Hello!

For all you fraggers out there, here's a cursor that shall please you!

If you need help installing the cursor, here's help:

Go to control panel and go to "mouse" (might be under category "hardware and devices")

Select the tab "cursors"
A big list of cursors saying "normal select," "busy," and others shall be waiting. Click on one of the cursors and then click "browse" in the lower right corner of the window.

A browsing window shall pop up. Browse to wherever you stored my file (you need to extract the stuff from the ZIP file first), enter the folder, and all the cursors I made should be there. The cursors' names correspond to what role they should serve. For example, for "normal select," you browse into my cursor directory and replace it with my titan/menacer cursor labeled "regular," busy for "busy", working in background for "WorkingInBackground," and so forth.

After you replaced each cursor with the corresponding Titan/Menacer cursor, save your new cursor combination (Under cursor selection bar - off to the left a little) as Titan, Menacer, or whatever you please.

There! You're done! Use that cursor well.

High time for a Pro Armor

Hi guys!

Don't you think it's high time for a pro armor?

 Now that pro weaps have been released, my tanker has become useless. Especially with menacer and ripper; given any armor suit, all five bullets loaded in the head is a kill. And with tankers, it's easier than eating pie.

I need a new armor to make up for all the skill I lost. Maybe Arsenal Megacorp could find a better metal alloy to use in their armors? I don't know. But it's high-time for a Pro Armor.

Bad news, but I'm not going to be here for most of the summer, (much to licosa's delight) as I will be on a residential camp for six weeks. There is a camp called CTY where you can take the SAT and if you get a high enough score, go there for summer courses. I will be leaving on June 27 and I'll be gone until August 6, so I will not post anything new. :-(. Please comment on anything new starting from June 27 under any of my posts. I will greatly appreciate it.

Who knows? Maybe if I have some time and a computer I will post! But I won't have my iPod, anyway. :-)

Take Advantage of Double Credit Thursday!

I got a trick for you to get the MOST out of all your matches.
What you need: Weapon that you can kill yourself with
A friend with no energy and a weapon that he can kill himself with
1. Enter battle
2. Each player will suicide as many times as they can; the player with energy grabs all the credits
3. When the 15-second timer appears, the player without energy shall quit the match.
4. Now, look at all the lovely credits you earned! HAHAHA! And no energy spent!

Double Credit Thursday!

Finally, mixing it up for the Thursdays! I think we have enough weapons and maps for a good long time now (though we could do perfectly well without the menacer). Now is the good time to buy powercells or ask a friend for a boost. (suicide in a friend match and grab all the credits). When I boosted without double credit day, I got 199 credits! HAHAHA I would LOVE 398 credits in one game! :-) Well, jope you all enjoy your credit Thursdays!
